Despite greater awareness about the importance of gender and its intersections and increased educational attainment by women in higher education (surpassing men in some fields, such as medicine and other healthcare provider fields), gender inequities continue to persist in Canada’s global health ecosystem.

To address this, we urgently need to build a social movement of change to empower and support the growth of early and mid-career women in global health through formalized career and skills development and mentorship at scale.

I'm always happy to connect and offer support to women in the field of global health and nutrition. If interested, please get in touch.
